In Remembrance of Gregory Edwin Adair Robin Adair has been kind enough to send the obituary of Gregory Edwin Adair, which was in the Spectrum. In order not to infringe on copyright, a summary with selected quotes is provided here as follows:
“Gregory Edwin Adair, age 53, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009, at his cabin at the ranch in Cane Beds, Arizona. He was born April 13, 1955, to Arnold Andrew and Nancy Ester Black Adair, in Boulder City, Nevada.”
Gregory’s family later moved to Hurricane, Utah, where Gregory graduated in the class of ‘73. While attending Southern Utah State College, he met his wife Noni. Gregory later became a police officer for the Navajo Tribe. Later he worked as a juvenile Officer and then as a Criminal Investigator attending the FBI Criminal Investigation School, retiring in 2007.
“Greg very much enjoyed his grandchildren….He was a wonderful family man who supported his family in all activities.” …”Greg also enjoyed doing genealogy and learning about his Scottish, Irish heritage.”
He leaves behind his wife, Noni Begaye Adair of Tuba City, AZ, daughter, Amorelle (Walden), Amber, and Amanda Adair; grandchildren, Justin, Justus, Tristan, Kanyn, Jayden and Jayse; sibling, Dallas Arnold Adair, Sharon Weiss and LaVoy Marvin Adair. “He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kevin Roland Adair. “
Memorial services were held Feb. 13, 2009 in Hurricane, Utah, and he was buried at the Spur Ranch, Cane Beds, Arizona. |
